A Question for Monday
I know it’s Monday—but it’s also a new day, a new week. And within it is a fresh opportunity for something meaningful to happen in us.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on Hebrews and the fullness of who Jesus is. He is the better everything—our better hope, our better covenant, the anchor for our souls. He didn’t leave anything unfinished. He lives even now to intercede for us.
And then comes the question that stops me:
“How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?”
It’s not a question meant to condemn—it’s meant to awaken.
Because sometimes neglect doesn’t look like rejection. It looks like distance. Distraction. A failure to draw near when we’ve been given full access.
So today, let this be your starting place:
“Lord, am I neglecting You in any way?
Am I drawing near—or pulling back?”
Let your prayer be filled with honest questions. Let it begin on your knees, in humility and openness.
He is not distant from your questions—He welcomes them. And He is faithful to respond.
Prayer:
Lord, search my heart. Show me where I may be neglecting what You’ve freely given. Draw me close again, and teach me to live fully in the hope I have in You. Amen.
